Carla Ciatto è nata nel 1975 a Roma. E' laureata in Sociologia. Vive e lavora tra Roma e New York.
E' freelance e si occupa di post-produzione fotografica e stampa digitale per conto di fotografi in Italia e all'estero. I reportage che ha post-prodotto sono stati pubblicati sulle più importanti riviste italiane e straniere, come Internazionale, L'Espresso, Io Donna, Il Venerdì di Repubblica, D la Repubblica delle Donne, Sette, Style Magazine, Vanity Fair, Max, Traveller, Sportweek, Rolling Stone, Loop, Oasis. Ha curato la stampa digitale di mostre quali il Festival della Letteratura di Viaggio presso Il Palazzo delle Esposizioni di Roma, la mostra "A Private War Among Brothers" di Nadia Shira Cohen presso la Cerami Gallery di Charleroi, Belgio. Nel giugno 2011 ha curato la post-produzione del libro "Linda Olinda" del fotografo brasiliano Pedro Lobo.
Dal 2012 lavora per alcune Campagne TIM occupandosi di post-produzione, editing e retouching.
Inoltre, gestisce l'agenzia fotografica Artimages.biz specializzata in eventi d'arte, ed è membro dell'organizzazione fotografica no profit Shoot4Change.
Oltre al lavoro fotografico, collabora come graphic designer con la Web Agency CRISAFIWEBSTUDIO per la consulenza grafica dei siti web, ed è assistente per i lavori digitali, web, e di archivio, di artisti di fama internazionale.
E' ideatrice e fondatrice del progetto web www.trustandshare.com di cui cura concept e design.
Per quanto riguarda la sua esperienza artistica, da sempre è amante della fotografia, la sua ricerca fotografica si muove intorno alle dinamiche del viaggio e delle energie prodotte e consumate per compierlo. Attraverso il progetto fotografico “bicycles” ha fatto conoscere ed apprezzare il suo lavoro, ponendo l’attenzione sulla bicicletta come elemento d'unione di un viaggio metaforico, trasportatore di uomini e culture. Gli scatti fotografici che sceglie per le sue installazioni provengono dai frequenti viaggi tra l’Asia e New York, città in cui trascorre parte dell’anno.
Nel 2009 è stata invitata da Claudio Libero Pisano a partecipare alla mostra collettiva “Battiti” presso il Complesso Monumentale del San Michele in Roma, con l’installazione fotografica “We love this game”.
Ha realizzato il progetto fotografico "ilodnivo" ispirato al romanzo "La ragazza dai piedi di vetro" di Ali Shaw edito da Fazi. In occasione dell'uscita del libro in Italia nel marzo 2010 il lavoro è stato proiettato all'ISFCI, Istituto Superiore di Fotografia e Comunicazione Integrata, all'interno del programma per il 25° anniversario.
Nel settembre 2010 è invitata ad esporre al Turin Photo Festival.
Nel 2012 partecipa alla mostra collettiva QUADRATONOMADE presso il Palazzo delle Esposizioni di Roma e presso il Farm Cultural Park di Agrigento.

Carla Ciatto was born in 1975 in Rome. She has a master's degree in Sociology. She lives and works between Rome and New York.
She is a freelance digital photo editor working in image post-production for photographers in Italy and abroad. She has post-produced photographic reportages published in the most important magazines in Italy and abroad, including Internazionale, L'Espresso, Io Donna, Il Venerdì di Repubblica, D la Repubblica delle Donne, Sette, Style Magazine, Vanity Fair, Max, Traveller, Sportweek, Rolling Stone, Loop, Oasis. She has also been responsible for digital printing for numerous exhibitions, including the Festival of Travel Literature at Rome's Palazzo delle Esposizioni, the Nadia Shira Cohen exhibition "A Private War Among Brothers" at the Cerami Gallery in Charleroi, Belgium. In june 2011 she worked for the post-production of the book "Linda Olinda" by the brazilian photographer Pedro Lobo.
Since 2012 she is in the staff of the TIM Campaign where she works on post-production, editing and retouching.
She manages also the photo agency Artimages.biz specialized in art's event, and she is a member of the no profit organization Shoot4Change.
In addition to the photographic work she also works as graphic designer for the Web Agency CRISAFIWEBSTUDIO, and she is assistant for digital web and archive works of international artists.
She is creator and founder of the webproject www.trustandshare.com she takes care of concept and design.
Regarding her artistic experience, she is a keen photographer, her research centres around the dynamics of travel and the energy produced and consumed during this process. Her photographic project "bicycles", focusing on the bicycle as the unifying element of a metaphorical journey, transporting people and cultures, brought her work to the attention of critics. The photographs selected for her installations were taken on her frequent journeys to Asia and New York, where she spends part of the year.
In  2009 she was invited by Claudio Libero Pisano to participate in the group exhibition "Battiti" at the San Michele Monumental Complex in Rome with the photographic installation "We love this game".
The photographic project "ilodnivo" was inspired in the novel "The Girl With The Glass Feet" by Ali Shaw. In occasion of the publication of the book in Italy by Fazi Editore (march 2010) the photo slide show was shown at the ISFCI, Istituto Superiore di Fotografia, as one their 25th anniversary cultural activities.
In september 2010 she has been invited at the Turin Photo Festival.
In february 2012 she took part in the show QUADRATONOMADE in Rome at Palazzo delle Esposizioni and e at the Farm Cultural Park in Agrigento (Sicily).
